About Aqua Tunnels

Aqua Tunnels was formed in 2008 by Koi fanatic and company owner Rob Smith and operates from the Aqua Groups Poole based warehouse on the South Coast.

“Aqua Tunnels is one of 4 companies I have, and although originally I did not set out with this particular business in mind, the demand and popularity of these tunnels was such,  I realised there was an opportunity here to combine a little of my hobby with a new business venture”

The first tunnel was purely an off-spring from an idea Rob had for his own 7500 gallon Koi pond, and once he had found the right manufacturer, both for quality and price the reception of these tunnels was overwhelming.

In late 2008 the Aqua Tunnel concept was introduced and explained on several well know and respected koi forums, adverts were also placed in the UK’s two leading Koi related magazines and the response was phenomenal.

Aqua Tunnels can now be found on koi keepers ponds all over the country and, due to word of mouth, enquiries are now even coming in from Europe.

The purpose of Aqua Tunnels is to produce and supply quality, value for money Koi/Fish pond covers primarily for Autumn/Winter use although some are now being used for all year round cover, to enable higher controllable temperatures for growing on young Koi by many keepers and dealers alike.

New additions to the Aqua tunnels range are continually being sort and developed, and Rob has made it quite clear that he will continue his strive to supply the best cost effective Koi pond covers available.
